Salmon Creek Beach

Someone built a really cool fort. It was made in a circle and very wind proof. The sand inside had been dug way down so it was warm and still inside. Very nice for warming up.

The hole the kids dug fit Bekah nicely.

The cousins enjoyed spending time together.

It was sooo windy at the beach. The kids didn't mind that much but it got cold after a bit.

After the beach we stopped at Screaming Mimi's Icecream shop in Sebastapol. They have the best icecream that they make right there. The kids loved it.

Our 8th Anniversary-Pics from our date

Chris and I had such a nice time on our date for our anniversary. We went to Flavor and got some really good food. It was really wonderful just having time to talk and relax together. These are some pictures that I got in the downtown square on our walk over to the movie theater.

I wanted a couple pictures before the movie too. Chris really doesn't like the red eye reduction feature in the dark movie theater as you can clearly see on his face. I laugh so hard every time I see this picture.

We watched "Prince Caspian". It was a really good movie.

I love that I can still have fun with my husband and do goofy stuff with him.

Just wanted to give you an update on how the pregnancy is going. I am now 20 weeks / 5 months along. No more morning sickness at all. Between the 13th and 15th week life got a lot better when I stopped getting so sick. I just now starting to gain a little weight and my belly is really starting to grow. The baby is moving all the time and is so active and strong. Last night I felt the baby kick my hand. I had my ultrasound on Thursday and got some really good pictures. The baby looks perfect and has all it's little parts it is supposed to. The little one liked to put it's hands over it's face and hide. So cute. We looked very hard to see if we were having a boy or a girl. The baby wasn't very cooperative and we didn't get a definitive answer. The tech didn't see any little boy parts so we are most likely having a girl-but we aren't counting on that. We will be excited at the delivery to find out for sure. That's all for now.

Swimming and other summer stuff

Bekah loves Grandmom's sparkly shirt. She kept trying to take off the sparkles and fireworks.

Isn't this picture so cute?

All smiles today.

Baby likes to swing just as much as Bekah.

The other day I was really hot and just wanted to swim. So we loaded up the car and drove to the Finnley Swim Center. We got there 20 minutes before it closed. The guy almost made us pay full price but then he let us in for free. The water was perfect and I really enjoyed spending time with Bekah in the pool. By the time we left she was jumping into my arms with out having my hands on her first. It was really fun!

Bekah's New Bedroom

Daddy was so cute putting Bekah to bed. A kiss for daddy!

This is Bekah's new canapy bed. It looks so pretty. The pictures don't really do it justice. The twinkle lights on the bed look awesome at night. I'm not totally done working on the fabric-just gotta get some inspiration and energy.

The bed spread and bed I got on overstock.com for a great price. The picture of the bed looked black and that's what I wanted. But when it arrived it was bronze. Not what I wanted at all. So I spent a couple days spray painting it black. Now I like it and everything is great.

This is a dresser that my mom refinished and painted. It looks awesome with the room.

Thanks Nana!!

My mom also found this pretty rocking chair and refinished and painted the little table. Doesn't it look so pretty? All the furniture my mom did has little rose buds and looks so girly and pretty.

Bekah has graduated to her new room and her new big girl bed. She is doing really great! After a trial run in her crib turned toddler bed she learned to stay in bed. Now she always stays in bed when told. What a good girl.

Father's Day

We had a really nice Father's Day. Chris's family came over for lunch and dessert. Pastor Garland also got to come and share the day with us. We had lots of food and s'mores. Bekah was hot and tired. After getting her grahm cracker she came to snuggle with Daddy and Mommy. Bekah needed lots of cuddles today.

The guys got to play video games to their hearts content on Father's Day. They had a fun time hanging out and joking around.

Bekah kept playing with Uncle Kevin's huge shoe while she was trying to go potty. It is almost as big as she is.

We lite our fire place out side on Father's day and we had such fun making s'mores. The kids offered to cook all of the marshmallows for us but we like to cook our own. Jeremy kept burning his and so Grandmom Lynn and I had to eat all of those. Sometimes there wasn't much marshmallow left when he would let it burn too long.

We had the peanut butter out to put on our s'mores. It is so yummy to spread a layer of peanut butter on the grahm cracker, then add the chocolate and a cooked marshmallow. You have to try it if you haven't yet. I got chocolate and peanut butter all over my face and pants but it was well worth it!

This was Bekah's first taste of a marshmallow. She really wasn't too into it so we just gave her a grahm cracker with peanut butter on it.
