Bekah loves Mommy and Daddy

Chris and I just adore our little girl. Each day we enjoy her smiles, giggles and cuteness. Here is us just plain enjoying her.

Bekah likes it when daddy throws her up in the air. You like her wild hair?

Daddy reads Bekah a story. How sweet.

Bekah likes to pull herself up onto her papa and stand next to him smiling away. One time she stood all by herself for a second.

Happy Father's Day!

Chris got an inflatable raft for Father's Day from Bekah and I. There is a good story that goes with it too. Years ago we had found an inflatable kayak. We blew it up and discovered there were no holes. We just couldn't figure out why someone would throw away a perfectly good piece of equipment. So we took it to Hartstone and planned a day of kayaking on the river. We soon found out why someone threw it away. It would NOT go straight. No matter how you paddled the thing or how slow you went it would just spin in circles. Finally we gave up and just floated.

Megan and Phil heard about our mishap and they wanted to try it. They thought we just didn't know what we were doing and that will all their expertise they could make it work just fine. Well, that didn't happen. The mile or two trip they had planned didn't materialize cause they also just spun in circles. Finally they gave up and threw it away. I wonder if someone else found it?

So, I was trying to come up with something more creative than a tie or a shirt and ended up seeing this inflatable raft. So we will take this up to Hartstone and try a trip down the river with our baby. We are really hoping that this one works better. Bekah looks like she is ready to go. Maybe she can take over the oars for us. That is if we want them covered in drool.

Bekah is getting very mobile. Yesterday she climbed up under the side table all by herself. She was chasing the kitty and then got herself stuck. It was very funny.

I have been giving Bekah lots of baths outside. It cools her off when its hot and it's a nice change of scenery. The other day I set her next to the pool and went inside to fill up a pot with warm water. When I came out she was stuck underneath the tub. I set it up and sat her next to it again. She soon had it flipped over on her self again. I love seeing her explore and learn new stuff.

Remotes, pig tails and more

I love this little dress Aunt Jennifer gave Bekah. It is so pretty on her. I snapped of few pictures of Bekah with her favorite toy-the remote. She was so thrilled to play with it that we finally gave her her own remote to chew on.

While Chris and I were eating dinner I looked down and both Bekah and Bailey were intently watching us eat. I think they both wanted to taste what we were having.

On Sunday I saw Lena with an adorable pony tail in her hair. I just had to try it on Bekah. Man is it hard to get her to sit still long enough to put it in.

I finally got a good picture of her two little bottom teeth. So cute!

Bekah takes lots of time taking good care of her teeth. Does it really matter which end of the tooth brush you use?

Bailey has the patience of a saint with Bekah. They are really good buddies though.

I really enjoy taking pictures with Bekah. She is my little sweetie. My darling girl.

Another Catan Night

Catie was holding Bekah while others were playing their turns. Bekah sat on her lap and just stared and stared at Catie's face. This is the first time I have ever really seen her do this.

Michelle won this game. We were all so proud of her because she had been playing for 5 months and had never won a game yet. Go Michelle!!

My wonderful husband is so photogenic. I just love the way he really gets into the photograph and tries to make sure the picture comes out beautifully. So handsome isn't he.

My First Babysitting Class

Each of the girls came to learn more about babysitting and to learn how to perform infant and child CPR. We spent 4 fun hours with me teaching and them learning and taking notes. I think they had as much fun as I did.

Look I can change a teddys diaper all by myself.

After everyone practiced changing a diaper Sierra got to show everyone how to change Bekah's. Bekah however was tired and ready for her nap, so instead of giggling like she normally does, she cryed the whole time. Sierra did very well as all the girls stood around and watched and held their noses.
